This is the first time since 2012 that Kohli will feature in the Ranji Trophy. He had last played against Uttar Pradesh at Ghaziabad's Mohan Nagar in 2012.

While Kohli's return adds a lot of star power to the Delhi side, Ayush Badoni's team's chances of advancing to the quarter-finals are quite slim. Even an innings win might not help them get to the next round and Railways will be another tough opponent for Delhi.

Apart from an innings loss to group leaders Tamil Nadu, Railways have won two and drawn three games. They are still hopeful of advancing to the quarter-finals but anything less than a win might not be enough. Even a win might not take them to the next round but the Pratham Singh-led side would want to finish on a high.
