The Kiwi was the highest wicket-taker for his country in international cricket with a total of 776 wickets in 394 matches. Southee played a big part in New Zealand’s great run in Test cricket from 2017 till 2021, which eventually culminated in their historic triumph in the inaugural WTC final at Southampton.
