This will be the septet’s first production after the release of its self-titled extended play “GOT7” in January 2022.
The upcoming record will also serve as the group’s second collective effort since leaving its former label, JYP Entertainment, in 2021 after seven years with the company.
Fans have previously criticized JYP Entertainment for its alleged poor treatment of GOT7. They organized protests through email drives, launched online campaigns, and went as far as sending a truck in front of the agency’s building last year to demand changes and improvements for the group.
